We use evidence and networks to influence legislation and policy concerning the wellbeing of Queensland children and young people, and their families.

Advocating for change that responds to issues that affect the wellbeing of Queensland’s children, their families and the community, is part of our role.

We collect data, undertake research and engage with organisations, children, families and the community to form positions. Once well informed, we make recommendations about laws, policies, practices and services related to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and families.

We do this to improve the child protection, family support and youth justice systems to make sure they are the best they can possibly be to protect vulnerable children and families.
