Research
As part of our work to improve the child and family support system, we are responsible for:
- identifying areas of research and making research findings more accessible to help inform policy and practice
- providing leadership and expert advice about laws, polices, practices and services
- advocating for the safety and wellbeing of children across Queensland.
Research is an important part of the work we do, producing regular research scans and summaries.
Our research supports the recommendations we provide to government and non-government organisations to inform laws, policies, practices and services concerning the wellbeing of Queensland children and young people.
Research Strategy 2025
We recognise the importance of high-quality research in shaping positive system outcomes for Queensland Children and Families.
We pursue research across a continuum where we empower and enable research through collaboration with relevant sector partners, researchers and agencies.
