Child Safeguarding Grants Program
Our Child Safeguarding Grants Program is one of the ways we support organisations and sectors to meet their obligations under the Child Safe Organisations system. The program provides funding grants to support organisations to develop capacity and capability within their sector or across sectors/regions.
Two rounds of grants have so far been provided under the program.
Round 1 grants funded child safe readiness and training projects, sector-specific capability and capacity building packages, and readiness and awareness packages for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations.
Round 2 grants funded sector-specific capability and capacity building packages for sectors subject to the Reportable Conduct Scheme, and projects to improve existing child safeguarding training.
