Policy submissions

The QFCC uses evidence and networks to influence legislation and policy concerning the wellbeing of Queensland children and young people, and their families.

We advocate for evidence-based, collaborative and strategic approaches to address issues that affect the wellbeing of Queensland’s children, their families and the community.

We collect data, undertake research and engage with stakeholders, children and families to form positions and make recommendations about laws, policies, practices and services related to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and families.

We do this to improve the child protection, family support and youth justice systems to make sure they are the best they can possibly be to protect vulnerable children and families.
