Online relationships

This information paper from the e-Safety Commissioner reports on the Commissioner's research on young people's online relationships. Almost two-thirds of young people reported spending more time with friends offline,  while 18% said they spent more time with friends online, and more young people aged 15-17 years were spending more time with friends online than those aged 12-14 years. Most had best friends who they interacted with offline only (78%), while 15% interacted with them both online, and offline and 6% interacted with them solely online.
