Child and family reforms engagement strategy

news

Have you had your say on the draft engagement strategy for implementing the child and family reforms? The consultation period for providing feedback closes on 13 November 2015.

Through the Supporting Families reform program, the Queensland Government and its non-government partners are working together to build a new child and family support system that will help ensure Queensland children and young people are cared for, protected, safe and able to reach their full potential.

The draft strategy outlines the ways the government proposes to broaden its engagement, to ensure everyone, including children, young people, families and communities, has the opportunity to stay informed and contribute to the overall planning and delivery of the child and family reform program.

In particular, the draft strategy looks at the proposed objectives and principles when engaging with stakeholders, and seeks feedback on ways to improve and add to their current communication and engagement activities.

You are encouraged to share your views about how you want to be engaged and kept informed about the implementation of the reforms.
