More Queensland young people welcomed to the table

Nine new Youth Champions joined the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) Youth Advisory Council in June. We have expanded the successful Youth Advisory Council to 14 young Queenslanders aged from 14 to 25 years.

The Council provides advice to the Commissioners on matters of importance to children and young people in Queensland.

Youth Champions also work with QFCC staff on a variety of projects to help keep the voices of young Queenslanders front and centre to our work. In return, Youth Champions develop strong leadership, project management and advocacy skills.
