Young people's trust & confidence in online information sources

This information paper from the e-Safety Commissioner reports on the Commissioner's research on young people's trust in online sources of information. While one-third of young people aged 12 to 17 years spent less than six hours a week online outside of school hours, 29% spent 7-12 hours, 18% 13-18 hours, and 19% 19 or more hours  a week. TV was the most trusted online source, followed by social media posts of friends (32%) or by others (20%).
