Information for educators

The #doiknowu campaign highlights the dangers of online sexual exploitation. The video demonstrates the tactics predators use to trap young people into sharing sexual images of themselves. The content is based on real life transcripts provided by the Queensland Police Service's Taskforce Argos and the video was created in collaboration with young people.

To support the video, here are two resources for educators to teach students about the importance of safe online behaviour.

  • #doiknowu lesson plan (PDF, 201KB)
  • Traps and Hacks poster - Steps out the traps used by predators and provides hacks on how young people can critically question their interactions with people online.

The Queensland Department of Education is supporting the QFCC by sharing the #doiknowu online safety education package with educators.
