Hear Me, See Me - Terms and Conditions

  1. Please note, only Queensland children and young people aged 5 to 18 years are eligible to enter.
  2. The 2017 Hear Me, See Me Art Exhibition is not a competition.
  3. To be considered for the art exhibition, all entries must be submitted via the online entry form by midnight on 23 July 2017.
  4. Hard copy entries will not be accepted. They must be submitted via the online entry form.
  5. The theme ‘What does safety, love, joy, hope, trust and family look like to you?’ must be incorporated into the artwork. Artists can choose to use one or two words, or all of them.
  6. By submitting an entry, you allow the QFCC to feature your artwork in promotional material, online and in social media posts concerning the Hear Me, See Me Art Exhibition.
  7. Artwork for the exhibition will be selected by a group of young curators based on artistic merit, representation of the message, and also alignment with the theme.
  8. The decision of the young curators is final.
  9. Shortlisted artists will be notified via phone or email by early August 2017.
  10. If a piece is selected, the artist or their parent/guardian will be contacted by the QFCC to arrange delivery of the original piece.
  11. After the exhibition, pieces will be returned to the artist unless other arrangements have been made.
