The Family Matters report 2018: Measuring trends to turn the tide on the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in out-of-home care in Australia

This report examines trends, drivers, and outcomes of the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in out-of-home care and assesses state and territory governments’ efforts to address over-representation through prevention and early intervention, working in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and supporting cultural connection and identity for children.
