Decreases in psychological well-being among American adolescents after 2012 and links to screen time during rise of smartphone technology.

This research used data from the Monitoring the Future longitudinal study of a nationally representative sample of eighth, tenth and twelfth grade students in the United States to investigate the relationship between students' time on their phones, tablets and computers, their 'in-the flesh' social interactions and their overall happiness.
