Blue Card and Foster Care System review consultation

Community engagement for the Blue Card and Foster Care System Review:

It is critical for the Blue Card and Foster Care Systems Review to include a broad engagement and consultation process. This will take place though a number of channels targeting a cross section of stakeholders across the blue card and foster care systems including:

  • Foster care/child safety workers with a focus on those providing frontline services
  • Children and young people
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, individuals and organisations
  • Individuals and organisations from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Education and care providers
  • Government, including local government
  • Health, counselling and support services
  • Home stay organisations
  • Religious organisations
  • Sporting and recreation clubs
  • Schools, including State and non-State schools
  • Tutoring organisations
  • General community members.
